About

I've been a full time freelance Hair and Makeup artist for over seven years. I graduated from Swinburne University Melbourne, where I studied a Diploma of Advanced Makeup Services. Kick starting my career I worked for Alex Fevola at her Runway Room beauty salons across Melbourne and shortly after became a Wedding Specialist in the Bridal industry working for myself. I now live in Sydney, however frequently fly between the two for work - mainly weddings, editorials and fashion shoots and shows.

How much do you charge for Hair and Makeup?

Hair and Makeup is $215 per person- this includes lashes.

How long does one Hair and Makeup take?

It will take me just over an hour to complete both Hair and Makeup - or 30mins for each.

Being in the Makeup industry with over 8years experience, I have become very time efficient.

Do you charge a Travel Fee?

Sometimes. It will depend on the location and the amount of people in the Wedding Party etc.

Astrid excels at what she does. She strikes that perfect balance of being professional, great at makeup/hair and at the same time being a friendly and positive person. On my wedding day she made us feel at ease and conducted her service like a breeze! I could barely feel her touch when she applied it, as she works efficiently and quickly. Her makeup application was flawless and my hair was exactly how I wanted it, it lasted all day. To top it all off she is adaptable and able to work in demanding situations, definitely in the right industry! Luckily for me I will be seeing her again next March for another HMU application. Thank you Astrid for being excellent, it made the whole day go so smoothly and in turn made the nerves much calmer <3
