All products used on our clients are of a high-end brand and quality. The products within our kits are suitable for all skin tones and types. We also offer fully Vegan + Cruelty-free products.
All products utilized in our kits are tested on multiple skin/hair types and sensitivities.
?However, there is always a small chance the client may react to the products used on their skin or scalp. To ensure this does not occur during the official application for a special event (where time is limited), a trial is recommended so that any sensitivities or previous application history may be discussed to perfect a personal routine.
A variety of touch-up services are offered with Babydoll Artistry and we recommend these options be discussed during the trial appointment or prior to the service date.

The preparation information provided below is generalised without accounting for your particular skin, hair type and budget. While we ask you to follow the preparation tips below, do not disregard your experience with your own hair, skin and budget requirements.

It is always recommended that the bride, one bridesmaid and any other more particular bridal party members book a trial. If under the circumstances this is not possible, it is highly recommended that at least the bride-to-be schedules a trial as this helps to ensure the day runs smooth, all controllable events will go according to plan, and that we are able to make your wedding as perfect as possible.
This depends on what the bride prefers and when the artist has times available to book. If the bride is quite certain of what their desired look is and has viewed the artist’s previous work, it is generally recommended that the bride schedules their trial to be approximately 3-4 months before the booked wedding date. This is suggested so that the artist and bride have adequate time after the trial to purchase any new necessary products (eg. specific lipstick), to consider any changes to the look, if a second trial is required (in extreme cases) and (in very rare cases) if a different artist is needed to be found.
Our brides will always get the same artist for the trial and the wedding day.
On average, a hair and makeup trial takes around 3 hours. If you only require one service (hair or make-up), this will take around 2 hours. It involves a detailed consultation where we discuss logistics, allergies, concerns, products, skincare routines & take our time designing and a look that you will love - afterwards adapting it if you choose.
It is recommended that the bride starts collecting inspirational photos of their desired hair and makeup and any pictures (along with an opinion) of their hair and makeup from previous professional applications, as it will help us in understanding the look you desire, your particular likes & dislikes. If you have removable hair extensions, please ensure that you bring them. Also, if you have any specific products you would like used, feel free to bring them along too!?
a) General Make-Up Removal:
Any basic make-up products (eg. foundation, mascara, powder, etc.) may be removed with a common make-up remover such as micellar water, cleanser, wet wipes, etc. For stubborn make-up residue, use an oil-infused cleansing product.
b) False Eyelash Removal
If by any chance they are glued to some of your natural eyelashes, remove them by soaking a cotton pad in remover, & holding it on the closed eye for a minute to loosen the adhesive.
