Tamika Adams is the founder and head hair stylist and makeup artist at The Makeup Hut. Starting her hair and makeup profession in 2014, Tamika studied at the highly recognised Academy of Makeup in Paddington, Sydney. She was trained by some of the best makeup artists in the industry where she completed her diploma in specialist makeup services and hair styling. After completing her course, Tamika has been apart of many big events including, Mardi Gras, Mercedes Benz fashion week, Miss Universe and film and television work.
Since moving back to the Gold Coast in late 2016, bridal work became her main focus. Tamika prides herself on providing the best quality, long lasting makeup looks and hairstyles for her bridal parties. Over the past few years The Makeup Hut has grown from just Tamika herself to now a close knit group of talented artists. Yes, all makeup application include false lashes. You can choose strip lashes or individuals. I tend to use lashes with volume but no thick bands which sit lightly on the eye to avoid irritation and lifting off as you want them to last the whole day. If you wish to have thicker lashes please notify me prior to the wedding date.
