I booked Missy to do a wedding hair trial and 6 heads on my wedding day. My group had a variety of lengths and textures and Missy approached them all with ease- something that is definitely not always the case, as I have very curly hair and it is always a gamble whether you will have a hair stylist who knows how to appropriately work with them and make them last. Missy was fantastic to work with. She was flexible in what each of my group wanted for their hair and did a range of styles from my updo, so a quick style of my grandma's hair, and a glamourous half up- half down style on my maid of honour which turned out fabulously. Missy put in a huge amount of attention to detail for each of my party, regardless of who they were- she made sure they, and she, were 100% happy with their final hairstyle. She was flexible with the range of hair textures and lengths my party had, and was able to work with two people who had planned hair pieces, and also me who at the last minute decided to add in a hairpiece that was actually initially designed to be wrapped around my flowers. Missy also went above and beyond to include my brother, who wasn't initially planning to have his hair styled, but after he walked out of his room looking very scruffy, she offered to include him regardless. Missy is also a great person to chat with, she keeps conversation flowing and you never feel awkward sitting there; she really supported the relaxed mood we were trying to construct so I wouldn't panic and flap around waiting for the ceremony to start. I would recommend Missy to anyone. She is highly skilled, very professional, affordable and an incredibly well organised person to have styling your hair for your event. I would absolutely book her again.

For my wedding late last year, I booked Missy to do my, my mother’s and my three bridesmaids’ hair. Missy was a wonderful addition to my day and in the lead up to the day. Her communications with me were very responsive and she was wonderful to work with during my hair trial – where I discussed and tried three different hairstyles with her, where she offered lots of useful advice and ideas. She was so open and friendly to talk to and absolutely knew her stuff. On the wedding day, she gave time to each wedding party member and listened to what they wanted while also keeping us all to time. She also allowed plenty of time for me to tinker with my hairstyle until it was just right. Her hairstyle looked stunning and stayed in place all night through much dancing. Missy has a beautiful and bubbly personality that she brought to the day. She was wonderful with my family and bridesmaids and made the wedding morning even more fun. She was also very attentive to myself and my needs on the morning, making space for quiet when needed and helping to keep things fun and light. I would use Missy again for a special occasion in a heartbeat and thank her so much for being part of my day.

Missy is more than a hair stylist! She is your wedding guardian angel! She listens intently, does stunning hair that lasts that is exactly what you're dreaming of, and supports you every step of the way! She has years of experience in the industry- we paid for a hair stylist, but it was like having a wedding consultant and bestie rooting for you and helping every step of the way. She had fabulous suggestions, offered to take photos while we got ready, kept so cool and calm when everyone else was chaotic! We had disasters the morning of my wedding- I ripped my veil! She saved the day! You will not find someone warmer who cares more. Hire her! It's the best thing you can do!

Missy had such an infectious energy and her talent is incredible! She is bright, bubbly and all round an amazing lady. She is so easy to chat to and everyone in my family adored her. She made us gals feel all so beautiful and her hair styling is second to none! She did exactly what we wanted and even took the time to do my grandma's hair who wasn't on the run sheet. I say I have done up to 14 by my self... I say it depends on hair styles and time of service... Also how qualified the hairdresser is I have been doing hair for over 30 years I find the holly wood waves and simple styles is so easy and I seem to get stuff done so fast... I am a sole operator most of my weddings have at least 7 or more getting hair done... I always find I add 1 or 2 on the day people see my work and ask to be done last minute.

Being a qualified hairdresser for up styles or down you do not need a perm... I find a perm will always make hair look dry. I have done curly hair looks and always find curling hair for a perm look is better or to get body I use rollers or curl hair for hight on top. I would say no to a perm. You don't need to damage hair before a wedding.
