When's the best time to have a hair and makeup trial?

Wondering how far out before the wedding is best, but also, would like to use the trial to help me choose my suppliers.

Rachael Gregory Hair and Make-Up Artist

Booking a trial will depend if you are having a destination wedding or a wedding close to home. If you are having a destination wedding you will most likely book your trial in the week prior to your wedding once you have arrive at your destination. Otherwise I recommend you have your trial once you have your wedding dress so you can choose a look that will compliment your dress.

How much does wedding make-up usually cost?

Hi Sarah, Congratulations on your engagement. The cost for make-up is $95.00 per person - supplying your own lashes (due to personal taste). We are based in Cairns and travel to Port Douglas (60km) regularly, and we change a travel fee of $100.00. Products we use are Mac (predominantly), Urban Decay and Chanel.
