yes absolutely! These are a fantastic way to get to know eachother and really break down your inspiration images and get your look exactly where you want it. That way, on the day there is no guess work and you are super comfortable with me and what your final look will be.

It is a complete preview, including putting your veil in or any accessories you have. So I encourage you to bring all these bits and pieces with you.

Bring at least 2 inspiration pics for hair and for makeup. Make sure these are in your colour tones i.e same colour hair as you. The same style can look very different in blonde vs brunette hair.

In simple terms, if your skin is amazing, your makeup will look incredible. It’s not a quick fix, it takes some time but everything you could possibly want to know is included in my skin prep guide. But a couple of things you can do straight away is up your water intake annd maybe refine your skin care routine. I’m talking 2 to 3 litres  of water a day consistently. I have seen this work wonders on a brides skin between her trial then her wedding a couple months later. The transformation was incredible. And it’s a pretty easy thing to do. The other is start layering your skin with moisture, especially at night. Hydration Sirums and oils as well as moisturiser cream.

Yes absolutely! My makeup application will all be completely set and able to withstand your long day ahead. BUT you need to make sure you do these few things:

Do not touch your face, if you are a face toucher, you need to try to curb that habit now!

Never rub or wipe at your face if you have some teary moments. Dabbing very lightly is key.

Hard truth: if you have fine lines around your eyes or smile lines when you are talking and laughing your makeup may move or settle a little. It happens to everyone and honestly there is no such thing as a creaseles concealer. BUT a fantastic trick that I use daily is to just tap your ring finger over the spot i.e under your eyes and it will re distribute the makeup. This will be the only time I encourage you to touch your face :)

And as an extra safe guard, you will receive an amazing little touch up kit with everything you need to give you peace of mind. It includes powder, baby blender sponge, baby wipes and lipstick pot.

I mainly work alone, I am very particular about being the one that physically does your makeup and hair if you have booked me. You booked my services because you love my work, so it will always be me. For the larger bridal parties I do have an excellent couple of hairstylists who will do the bridesmaids hair for me if timing is tight.

I work quite quickly and am able to do up to 8 services myself and do that very regularly. That usually looks like the bride and 3 bridesmaids.
