Would like to have an abundance of flowers for our wedding and looking for either florists that work with both fresh and faux flowers or florists that work with fresh flowers that would be willing to work with a faux florist and vice versa. The wedding is Friday 13th August 2027 and the venue has been booked.

As a general rule of thumb, most brides prefer fresh flowers for arrangements that are close to guests- such as aisle marker flowers and reception table decor.
Faux arrangements are often used as arch arrangements or one off decorations, however some brides also want them for the bridal party flowers in order to keep them forever.
Good quality faux flowers and foliage are not cheap, and many suppliers will not have the quantity required for all the reception tables (for example). It is often more economical to use fresh for these. Quality faux flowers are however a smart addition to bridal party flowers if the theme colour or type of flower is out-of-season or not available. An example of this is using blue flowers to augment an Australian natives bouquet- as blue is seldom if ever available except in dyed products, Another example is when the faux flower resembles the fresh so well that it is not detectable as faux and in fact is more robust than the fresh. Examples are lliums and orchids.
Another aspect to the comparative cost is that some items-such as arch arrangements- may be far more economical hired in faux flowers at a fraction of the cost that something similar could be made in fresh. I have a large range of these that can be adapted to suit any colout theme.
Both faux and fresh flowers can be beautiful in the hands of a professional - when used in the right place. I would be very happy to assist with both. Best wishes Deb
