Any recommendations on how to preserve wedding flowers after the wedding day?

Depends on the flowers contained in the bouquet and the condition of them after the event Would be the best to enlist the service of a professional to freeze dry and preserve them for you

Is a large bouquet and a flowercrown too much?

Will totally depend on your size gown etc. While large bouquets are all the rage at the moment the photos hide the gown the larger the bouquet the heavier it is to hold for a few hours. the same goes for the flowers crown/ head circlet, the larger the flowers the more it detracts from the face, making the flowers the focal point not the bride. Also the head is the hottest part of the body soft flowers may not last the distance up to 15 hours. Be advised by the florist with all idears during your consult. Merrilyn Clare Valley Flowers
