i feel weird doing the 'i said yes to the dress' thing. can i tell the sales girls not to say it?

Of coarse you can tell us that :) it is part of the experience some girls want since the show has become quite popular but the main thing is for you to feel comfortable in choosing your dream dress and to have the experience that you want, there is no harm in quietly pulling the consultant aside and asking her not to say that.

Just to let you in on a bridal secret - we find it corny too! But some girls want that experience.

Your Bridal Stylist is their to cater to you, talk to them, they'll be stoked that you actually have found the one and want to buy it.

Picking your dress is meant to be fun, but your kind of fun not some one else's idea of fun :)

 You nned to find your gown, your Dream gown that you feel special in.  The most inportant part is finding your own special gown, We wish you all the best as you go out and find your wedding gown for your wedding day.

It is fine to ask the sale's person that you don't like to say  "Yes to the dress".  Not all of us say that, as we aren't the TV show.
