- All dresses priced between $1,500 to $3,000. This includes the design and full production of the dress itself.
- Dresses made in 6 weeks – not 6 months. Express service is also available on request.

Get Expert AdviceHow should I go about buying a short wedding dress?
I want a wedding dress that is above the knee and have a fairly decent idea of what I want but have no clue how to go about finding one. Also is there any range of options for me? I don't know if its worth going to a boutique knowing they probably don't stock many but am too concerned about quality and finding someone to alter to shop online.
Should I have a budget before going wedding dress shopping?
I'm not sure how much I'd pay for my dream dress, but should I create a budget just to help the shop clerk out?

From our perspective, we find it extremely helpful if our brides come to an appointment with a good understanding of their budget. It's not so much about us - as the wedding dress maker and supplier - it's more about the bride. It can be heartbreaking to find a gown you absolutely love only to find out that it's way outside your budget. Knowing what your budget is really helps us frame the conversation, and show you designs that are possible to achieve.
It also goes beyond budget - having a well populated pinterest board, images, photos and drawings of the styles you like can really help as well. It's all about helping you find the dress that's 'the one'.

We would recomend doing your research first. You are right - many wedding dress retailers either don't stock short wedding dresses or they have a fairly limited supply. Have a look through their websites first to see what they offer, and when calling them to book an appointment be up front about the style you are looking for so they can quickly advise whether it's something they can assist with.
The other alternative is to talk to a couture dress maker to see if they can make the dress your looking for. Again, many couturiers don't include short dresses within their design languange so when making the appointment, let them know your looking for a shorter dress style. As designers and couturiers, we have designed and made customized short dresses in the past and from time to time have included them in our collections, but we have not seen many from the other designers we have experience with.
