Hi
Bacon Wrapped Prunes
Mini Chicken Sandwiches
Mini Tacos
Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup
Meatballs
Marinated Shrimp
Sliders
Stuffed Mushrooms
This really depends on what you have to follow your cocktail hour! Try to go for a good mixture of hot and cold canapés and you can even consider food stations that people can help themselves too for instance an antipasto station or a freshly shucked oyster bar. Keep in mind what you are serving for dinner so that you have variety if you are having beef for main then perhaps have seafood during cocktail hour and so on. Also how big is the dinner serving, how many courses? You don't want people to go hungry but at the same time you might want everyone to be able to get up, dance and party and you don't want them so full that they can't move! Hope that helps!
Cheers
Ben

Hello, Congratulations on your engagement
What you choose to serve during cocktail hour really does depend on quite a few factors including the timing of your wedding and of course your budget
A few questions you will need to ask yourself are;-
How long ago since your guests last ate taking into consideration they have probably travelled to the wedding and waited for the ceremony to begin?
How long will the cocktail hour go for? We suggest at least one piece per person every 15 minutes on average
What time will you be serving the main course? If there is substantial gap between canapes and main? If so then the canapes need to be more substantial
One thing to bear in mind is that wedding guests are notoriously hungry & thirsty post ceremony by the time they get a drink in their hand. Normally they devours food for the first 30 minutes
I always suggest to our brides to include a few carb orientated canapes to start with to allow people to satisfy their hunger before an afternoon/ evening of celebrating such as our mini Spanish chorizo pastry empanadas, lobster finger sandwiches, goats cheese and caramelised onion tarts
Another great option is to have a grazing table for guests to be able to visit at anytime and help themselves to a plate of food if they are hungry. You can theme this in any way you like such as mezze, cheese, antipasto, seafood or a combination table
Hope this is of some help to you
All the best

We would recommend 4-5 canapes. We can cater for black-tie style or a more relaxed canape hour.
Examples would be: -
Grilled scallops on pea puree topped with chorizo
Lamb backstrap skewer with mint yoghurt
Pulled Pork sliders with slaw
Duck pancakes with hoisin sauce
Wild mushroom arancini

We recommend three or four canapés wait served to your guests. Typically we would suggest a vegetarian option, a seafood option, a chicken option and a red meat option.
A typical canape menu for cocktail hour would be:
Mediterranean Arancini balls
Risotto balls filled with feta, roast capsicum, baby spinach, served with aioli.
Lamb Koftas
100% lamb mixed with Moroccan spices and coriander, served with Tzatziki dressing.
Wild Barramundi
Grilled Barramundi medallions with tropical fruit salsa served on a bamboo boat
Renang Chicken Satay Skewers
Marinated chicken, cooked to perfection, with a delicious tangy sauce.
ENJOY
We find that Wedding Guests are quite hungry by the time Cocktail Hour comes around, so something substantial but still keeping to Mini size is good. We serve Mini Souvlaki Sticks straight off the BBQ including Honey & Coriander Prawn, Lemon & Herb Chicken and Fig & Honey Marinated Quail.. Our most popular dish is our Zucchini & Feta balls with Minted yogurt and another popular choice is our Marinated Capsicum & Feta on Little Breads. Always remember, keep the amount of items on the Cocktail Hour Menu to no more than four, because you want your guests to enjoy their dinner as well. The trick is to make those four items, unforgettable!
Another great way to feed your guests during Cocktail Hour is a Fruit & Cheese Table. An absolute WOW factor and talking point for your guests while they sip their champaign. A Good selection of Quality Cheeses, complimented with Dried and Fresh Fruits is a great way to prepare your guests for a magical night.
