to be honest, it depends on your guests and whether the majority maybe non drinkers for any reason.
In a situation where no alcoholoic beverages are served, the guests that are accustomed to weddings with alcohol will definitely feel disadvantaged!

If you’re in one of those situations where you truly only foresee disaster from serving alcohol at your wedding, it’s absolutely your right to nix it.
Your guests will most likely be disappointed to by the lack of liquor.
They’ve taken the time to be there on your day, so it’s perfectly natural and fair for them to feel entitled to relax with a few cocktails. So if you aren’t offering liquor, unfortunately, you might witness a few eyerolls, long-winded sighs or under-the-breath comments
Hello
We think that the majority of people do expect to be offered a drink at a wedding
However if the bride and groom do not want alcohol at the wedding then the guests will have to respect that
Probably advisable to prepare them of this on the wedding invitation
Another option is to allow guests to BYO if this is compatable with the venue
Regards Food Stuff
They dont have to be. If you supply Non-Alcoholic Sparkling wine or allow some BYO for those who need it.
Just make sure the food is good and plenty of it, as the food/drink can be the entertainment if in absense of a band or DJ or Dancers.

No way!!! With the looming threat of things getting messy or highly embarrasing speeches, a dry wedding can be a welcome treat, especially when you replace it with something unique. Adding a bit of pizzaz with something funky like a tea bar shares a special part of your love with your guests. And you can even create a bespoke tea to encapsulate your love story!
