Sprout catering was started by Award winning chef Jacqueline Brown 
Jacqueline won the Sydney Morning Herald Josephine Pignolet award in 2005, has been the head chef of a 2 Chefs Hat restaurant, Sean’s Panaroma, before heading to London to work with Gordon Ramsey and The River Café. Yes, we are able to accommodate dietary preferences and restrictions including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free.  

Sprout Catering is happy to quote and provide a wide variety through other sourced  suppliers . Any lost or damaged equipment will be charged at the replacement cost. 

Prices listed on our website are inclusive of GST. Please note that prices are subject to change but are firm once your deposit has been paid

 For staffed events, final numbers are required a 2-3 week prior to the event.

Sprout Catering catered my wedding located at Tocal Homestead, Paterson. The food is amazing, the quality and the servings of the meals were outstanding. My guests were very pleased with all their meals. Sprout Catering were very helpful with special dietary requirements. I also ordered my wedding cake from Sprout Catering, the convivence of not having to pick up a cake that you really don't want to drop put me at ease as I only has to choose the flavours and my wedding cake was there on the night. Highly recommend the passionfruit tart for desert :)

My husband and I had been to weddings the past who were catered by Sprout and they have all been amazing. Therefore Sprout was the first choice for us when it came to our wedding and they did not disappoint. We had a last minute change due to covid to a wedding on a private property and sprout did the most wonderful job supplying all the cutlery, crockery and glassware and making the process so easy and simple. The most important part... the food... was incredible, weeks later we are still getting great feedback from our guests about how awesome the food was. On top of that, the wait and bar staff were very professional and made us all feel very looked after. Thank you Sprout!

Amazing staff, worked under extremely difficult conditions at the Newcastle Museum but delivered great food and great service, many of our guests have commented on both the food and the service how wonderful it was. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, a great asset to Sprout Catering.

Do we need to cater meals for our wedding suppliers?

Hi there. Wondering if we're supposed to cater meals for our wedding suppliers, and which suppliers are typically included? Need to factor into our budget.

Sprout Catering

Yes we suggest supplying a "crew meal" for your on-site vendors. 

Photographers, DJ or band members, photo booth operator. 

Which is better value - a bar tab or drinks package at our wedding?

We're inviting about 80 people to our wedding. Trying to decide between a bar tab and drinks package. When is it best to have each?

I would suggest a drinks package, this is cost effective as you pay an amount to cover drinks for a certain amount of time unlimited, a bar tab could become expensive as each drink is accounted for. 


Are grazing tables a bad idea for summer?

I would think about where the grazing table is going to be placed. 

If it is outside  you would want to position in shaded area, though also keep in mind you usually have more flys in summer.  I would personally lean more to canapes service on hot summer day. 

If inside  it wouldnt be a bad idea at all !
