We love creating celebrations that feel relaxed and full of life-long lunches that roll into late nights, shared feasts, flowing drinks and dance floors interrupted only by a late-night pan-fried bun. The kind of wedding where nobody’s in a rush to leave and everyone’s still talking about the food weeks later.

Hamlet Weddings + Events bring people together over really good food while creating meaningful employment opportunities for people facing barriers to work. As part of Hamlet, a Tasmanian social enterprise supporting people with disability, neurodivergence and mental health concerns, every event helps fund training, build confidence and develop pathways into hospitality employment.

We know no two weddings are the same, which is exactly how we like it. Whether you’re planning a big celebration, a long-table lunch or something a little less traditional, we work closely with you to create food and service that feels personal, relaxed and genuinely fun. Our style leans towards generous shared feasting, seasonal Tasmanian produce and creating the kind of atmosphere where guests settle in, loosen up and properly enjoy themselves.

We’re big believers that great wedding food should feel abundant without being overcomplicated. Plenty of flavour, plenty to go around and thoughtful options for everyone at the table. From welcome snacks and shared dinners through to late-night pan-fried buns, we’re here to make sure your guests are very well fed from start to finish. And while the focus is always on throwing a great party, every wedding with Hamlet also supports training and employment opportunities for people facing barriers to work – something pretty special to be part of while celebrating with the people you love most.
