Sam owns and runs Vintage MG Weddings, a boutique wedding car hire service built around a fully restored 1971 MG B Roadster. As the sole operator, Sam drives every booking personally. He loves creating bespoke packages for your special day and is happy to jump on a call to find out more about what you're after. Based in Sydney's Inner West, available across Greater Sydney.

FAQ
As early as you can. We only have one car, so once a date is taken, it's gone. If you've locked in your wedding date and venue, get in touch and we'll confirm availability. Peak season (September to April) books up fast.
The MG looks just as good with the top up as it does down. We keep a close eye on the weather and will coordinate with you and your photographer on the day to make sure the car is positioned well, rain or shine.
The MG B is a two-seater roadster. It's designed for the couple to share a private moment together, or for a solo arrival at the ceremony. If you need transport for your bridal party, we're happy to help coordinate timing so the car can do multiple trips where the schedule allows.
Every booking includes ribbon styling and a personalised 'Just Married' sign with your initials and wedding date. We also provide tin cans for the getaway. If you have something specific in mind beyond that, let us know and we'll see what we can do. We just ask that nothing is taped, glued, or pinned to the paintwork.
Yes. The MG is fully road-registered and insured for commercial hire and wedding services. It's not on restricted historic plates, so there are no limits on where or when it can be driven.
We cover the Sydney metropolitan area. If your wedding is outside metro Sydney, get in touch and we can discuss whether the location works and any additional travel involved.
Yes. Our 3-Hour Photo Shoot Package is designed for exactly that. The car is delivered to your location styled and ready to go, and you have three hours to shoot at one or more locations. Additional hours are available at $200/hr.
It's a 1971 MG B MK II Roadster, built in the UK and previously owned by Australian Olympian and TV presenter Matt Shirvington. The car has been rebuilt with a fresh engine and new upholstery. It's a genuine piece of Australian sporting and motoring history.
