Our carriages offer you the opportunity to arrive at your Wedding in style whilst enjoying the splendour and elegance of a previous era. Take a deep breath, gather your thoughts and let the calm ambience of the horse & carriage soothe your soul. You can choose from a single horse or a pair of horses to be in front of the carriage.
We also offer our horses to be ridden into your ceremony for a breathtaking entrance or as a horse model for a stunning and unique photo prop.
Charming Carriages cater for Indian Baraat Weddings supplying the traditional Indian horse wedding costume.
Photo opportunities with our services are second to none as our horses stand patiently and pose for all your desired photos. We work with you and your photographer to ensure all your love and memories are treasured forever.
Offering a range presentation options to our already impeccably presented outfit ties in our service perfectly with your wedding style while adding that extra touch of charm.
Our pricing structure for our services is as per below;
Horse Model (Photo Prop Only) - $680 > 1 hour
Ridden Wedding - $800 > 2 hours
Single Horse & Carriage - $1150 > 2 hours
Pair of Horses & Carriage - $1300 > 2 hours
Additional hire - $100 per hour > max 4 hours

I started Charming Carriages as a fun little venture in 2009. Being a part of the Wedding industry as a small business owner in Perth makes my heart so happy. I absolutely love seeing the joy and happiness we bring to people’s faces. Safe to say I am more in love with my little business than ever. Our horses continues to impress me and I look forward to a fun and eventful future.

We are located in Bullsbrook and are happy to travel to Weddings & Events. Having a wonderful little travel set up makes us fully mobile.
Our horse(s) travel in a float and the carriage travels on a car trailer. We operate from as far north as New Norcia, East to York all the way down to Dwellingup and anywhere in-between. A travel fee will incur for weddings over an hour travel for us.
Unlike a limousine or a car we cannot travel long distances in the horse and carriage. Keeping this in mind we try to keep a maximum travel distance in the carriage under 6km. This will avoid you having a sweaty horse for your wedding photos. We can travel on public roads, (no freeways or highways) although we will do our best to only travel on roads with speed limits under 70km and not super busy routes for the safety of the horses and passengers.
The Victoria Carriages seats up to four(4) adult passengers.
Our NEW white Vis-aVis Carrigase seats six(6) adult passengers.
Our Wagonett seats eight(8) adult passengers.
Some venues or public spaces do require approval to have a horse drawn carriage or a horse on the premises. Talk to the event coordinator at your venue and advise your wishes to have a horse drawn carriage or horse. Public spaces such as parks also require a permit from the respective city department. We are happy to provide our certificate of currency insurance papers to the venue as required.
Our horses are very respectful and do not leave any waste behind. They have special poop catchers so any toilet stops will not even touch the ground and is discreetly concealed. We also have it sorted for #1’s… With a little whistle our clever horses go #1 on cue so we ask them to ‘empty’ out prior, avoiding any mishaps during the wedding or event. Although we do our best to ensure no little accidents happen during the wedding or event, we cannot guarantee nature won’t call, you are in the end working with a live animal.
Yes. Charming Carriages is fully insured for Public Liability.
Our Carriage has a weatherproof cover that can be installed if rain is forecast. The cover fully encloses the carriage to keep you dry.
In the unlikely case of a severe weather warning being issued for storms/heavy rain or the temperature forecast is over 40 degrees for the day we will cancel our attendance for the safety of our customers and the welfare of our horse. Notification of this will happen as soon as the weather warning is issued. In these circumstances a re-schedule or full refund will be issued.
Cancellations by the customer will not receive a refunded deposit or full payment if it has been made, unless the date is then booked by another customer.
