Arranging flowers on the cake is one of my most favourite things so I always love when clients are happy for me to source and decorate the cake with florals. That said, some clients do opt for their florist to add them on the day. I always suggest for clients to see what work the florist has done before with cakes and make sure it meets their expectations.

Hi there,

To answer your question you can get either your cake maker to organise the flowers or better still organise them through your bridal florist as a package deal & all your flowers will be matching.  Hope this helps, Thanks Kathy

I prefer to source my own flowers in which I have most of the time but there has been ocassions where the bride herself has delivered the flowers to me or thru the florist.

We can discuss these options, if you need any more questions answered please don't hesitate to ask.

Thankyou

Most of the time the florist supplies the fresh flowers to the cake maker so that all of the flowers at the wedding match.

Depending on what flowers you are having the cake maker can get them from a local florist but generally it is easier

to use the same florist. Hope this helps :-)

We like to include the flowers, so that we can perfcetly place them on the cake, and make sure the stems are wraped correctly. However our clients are also welcome to use their own flowers through their florist if they would like to,

thanks, CW Cakes team

Hi,

It is entirely up to you, you can have your florist supply the flowers or we can organise the flowers for you. If your florist is ordering specific flowers for your bouquets then ordering a few extra bunches means all the flowers are the same colours and quality. We will still arrange the flowers on the cake at no extra charge for you if you supply them via your florist.

Whoever you'd like to! I always recommend you organise the fresh flowers with your florist, because A) it'll be cheaper! and I like to save you money where I can and B) they can match in with your bouquets and other flowers if that's what you'd like :)
When I deliver cakes I'm always happy to set the cake flowers up on the cake.

That all depends on your requirements. I supply the flowers for the cake if asked to by the couple or their Florist may supply them for me to arrange on the cake in the way i want. If the florist supplies them i normally talk to them prior to the wedding to make sure no poisonous ones are being used. I also ask for them to be left assingle blooms, not wired or wrapped as I do all this myself. However as I stated before, this is something you need to talk over with both your florist and cake maker!

Generally the Bride will arrange with her florist who includes the cost of the cake flowers in the package they do for the Bride. Your cake decorator can then liaise with florist saving the Bride valuable time.

If you prefer you can leave it all to the cake decorator but it is nice to have the flowers matching your bouquets and/or table flower decorations.

  • Hi .

Usally I ask if you have a florist that I could actually contact ,and try and use the same flowers that you are using on your bouquets , I actually like  displaying the flowers on the cake myself that way the cake is fully finished when I leave . I can supply the flowers myself only sometimes I cannot get exactly the same ones as your florist is supplying for your bouquets
