The Sugar Blossom Studio offers WA couples a bespoke service, creating hand crafted sugar flowers that reflect your unique style, theme, personality, or even your bouquet. This can be as simple as a single elegant bloom, through to stunningly over-the-top floral arrangements ready to be placed on your cake. Flowers can be supplied by the stem for you to arrange as you wish, or pre-wired into ready to go arrangements. Set packages are available, or orders can be placed to suit your specific design.
Sugar Flower Workshops & Private Lessons
For those who aspire to making every element of their wedding cake, The Sugar Blossom Studio runs fortnightly workshops on Saturday mornings which focus on a particular flower each time. Workshops run for a minimum of 4 hours and cost $150.00 per person with all tools, consumables and morning tea included. Workshop places are limited to a maximum of 6 people. If you have with something particular in mind you would like to learn, book a private lesson to focus on the flowers and skills needed to create the wedding cake you've been dreaming of. Private lessons can be one-to-one at $250.00 for minimum 4 hours (or longer if needed) - price per person reduces if more than one person will be attending the private class.

You may be wishing for those iconic wedding cake photos with an amazing multi-tiered creation, but planning an intimate wedding? Having a large cake in this situation would not only be expensive, but also would waste a lot of cake. This is where hiring or purchasing a faux wedding cake can solve the dilemma. Hire your perfect cake for the photos - and serve a "kitchen cake" for your guests. A kitchen cake is a delicious, but simply iced cake of your choice that is not put on display (kept in the kitchen - hence the name) that is cut and served to your guests. This option is also great for couples who have set a budget, but still want to have a stunning cake as part of their reception.
For those planning a summer wedding in Western Australia, a faux cake also opens many cake choice options that may otherwise not be possible with the heat. Sugar flowers are also a safer option during the summer months when fresh flowers just don't last in the hot weather. The faux cake can be on display in the marquee, garden or other non-airconditioned space for gorgeous photos, while the actual cake to be served to guests is kept cool and fresh in the kitchen. This allows for choices such as fresh cream, buttercream or fresh fruit fillings that would otherwise be compromised due to hot weather conditions.
