A husband and wife team we strike the perfect mix. We both design all our cakes together, while Rimma with her Russian training handles the making and construction. Most clients' contact us 3-6 months prior to their wedding, but many contact us earlier to secure their preferred date over the busy spring and summer months.
If you have a shorter lead time into your wedding please don't hesitate to contact us as we are happy to accommodate you.
We have been able to make several couple's happy, even when contacted the week of the wedding!
At your consultation you will get to meet us (Rimma & Craig) as the owners you will be talking directly to us, you will also be able to sample several different cake flavours and discuss the design of your wedding cake.
Whilst at your consultation you will be given a firm quote to enable you to make an informed decision.
Yes, of course! We are happy to use different flavours in each tier or you can combine two flavours in the one tier.
Between each layer we use ganache, which can be flavoured.
Our flavours page has a large selection of mouth-watering options for you to choose from.
This will depend on the number of guests and how you are planning on serving your cake.
For example, if your wedding cake is the main dessert you will need dessert size portions, if your cake is going to be served after your meal you will only need coffee size portions.
This will all be discussed at your consultation.
We offer a personal delivery and set up of your wedding cake and in most cases, this is free of charge, but please note depending on distance a fee may apply, this will all be discussed at your consultation.
We are in constant contact with wedding venues to coordinate delivery times and to brief venue staff on the cake display requirements.

Do wedding cakes have fake tiers?
Rimma's Wedding Cakes
It all depends, we have made cakes with fake tiers, for example, if your wedding is small and you only need the cake to feed 20 people but would like a bigger cake the base could be made from cake and the other tiers would be fake, give the appearance of a large wedding cake.
But do not fall into the trap of thinking this could save you a lot of money, although the cake may be in fact fake, it is the work that goes into covering the cake that takes the time, it still needs to be perfect for your wedding.
