Yes, you can, but do you really want to?
The thing about chatgtp is that none of it is really original or personal. Someone, usually in an African country, is sitting at a computer and entering data to recognise 'vows' that are online. Once taught what a vow is, the AI then extracts bits and adds them together.
You can do the same and make it real.
There is the legal bit (vows) that your Celebrant will advise you on: "I call upon everyone here to witness that I, A.B. (or C.D.), take you, C.D. (or A.B.), to be my lawful wedded wife (or husband, or spouse, or partner in marriage).... and you don't actually have to say more than that however, many want to.
The key is to say how you feel.
Here is a guide:
Personal vows are you expressing your love and the reasons that you have chosen to marry, that one amazing person.
Expressing your feelings can be daunting, especially when trying to say it all in just a few words but you don’t have to say it all, just say why you want to marry because you will have the rest of your life to say it all.
Relax because the words are already there in your heart and so we just have to find them.
There are some simple one-line vows later on this page but following this section will have your Vows written in now time
Ok, that’s more than three but you get the idea.

Yes, you can use it as it can be a great tool when you are stuck what to say and how to say it. My advice is to ensure you give it prompts and dots points of what you would like to say to ensure it sounds like you. You will probably need to make changes to it using your own language.
Reflecting on your journey, sharing anecdotes, and expressing genuine love with a touch of humour and vulnerability create heartfelt and memorable vows. It's all about authenticity and connection, for example:
- Start by reflecting on your journey as a couple and the unique qualities that you feel best define your relationship.
- Express your love authentically, using specific anecdotes and shared experiences that highlight your bond.
- Speak from the heart, conveying your promises with sincerity and clarity.
- Keep the tone genuine, and don’t hesitate to inject moments of humour or vulnerability.
- Consider addressing your partner directly, expressing gratitude for their presence in your life and articulating your aspirations for the future together.
- Keep it concise but impactful, ensuring that your words resonate with both you and your partner, on your special day.
I wish you all the best.

Chat is as good as what you ask it. You could try it and use it for a guide. Make sure you personalise and make your vows meaningful and from the heart. Your celebrant can give you ideas or you can google ideas.
