I usually have a light hearted approach to the ceremony which works well.  I am will to travel if there is an airline ticket supplied.

I presume you mean you would like a relaxing and fun ceremony rather than a stand up comedian. Yes I am prepared to travel to Canberra though my Treasured Ceremonies business is in Victoria. Give me a call

Lots of celebrants in Canberra and lots who happily travel for their work. Certainly getting married should be done with fun and laughter! There is no need to be serious, it should be enjoyed as the fantastic celebration it is!

Hello, Tanya Losanno in Canberra is a fantastic celebrant...and a Comedienne. She has just one the 2019 Moosehaed recipients. You will find her on Canberra Easyweddings. I also think think that humor is an important part of ceremony. If you like to laugh every day then you should laugh in your ceremony. I am also on easyweddings. Cheers

One would imagine that 40 years as a variety based entertainer as well as a decade as a civil celebrant would give me some credability in this regard. And YES - More than happy to trek to Canberra, I often work on the border and interstate.  Cheers, Ron.

Hi. In response to second part of question, I'm always happy to travel to Canberra and am a regular visitor.

In respone to first part of your question, I guess it depends on whether you are lookng for a celebrant who is also a comedian or whether you are looking for a celebrant who can write material that will reflect the humorous / funny sides of both your characters and that of your relationship and, of course, be able to deliver the same.  The first I am not, but the latter I can do and believe that a good measure of lightheartedness juxtaposed with the solemnity of the moment you are celebrating, always makes for a great ceremony.
