Ooooo personal style and choice really dictates here. But one of the coolest I have ever seen was a bride and groom who arrived together and then danced down the aisle to their fave tune. The whole ceremony (and reception) as themed as a music festival with lanyards given out, Act 1 - Ceremony. Act 2 Photos etc etc. They also had a flashdance offered to them by their guests after the ceremony. But if you aren't musical, maybe you could encorporate your own personal passion or hobby into the entrance. Ie: if you are a gymnast, cartwheel down the aisle!! Bottom line is - individuality is cool!!!

There so many different ways to make an entrance to your wedding ceremony. This may include a meaningful significant entrance song or piece of music either pre recorded or played/sang live. Wearing a themed dress up outfit, arriving different mode of transport(eg boat, helicopter, horse etc),having a particular dance/ritual.Whatever you both choose will make your day a memorable occassion.

I've certainly also seen people arrive by odd means, like helicopters, boats and tractors (both standing above and behind the driver, and sitting on a lounge suite in a trailer at the back), but I'm super excited to see people arrive ways that nobody has ever done before, like wearing a dry scuba suit and diving into the wedding from behind, only to emerge crumpled but dry, and totally awesome! I've seen a groom swing in by a rope, but I've never seen a bride arrive via flying fox, zipline, or crane swinging her in like a bird in flight. I've also never seen a bride arrive by scooter, skateboard or bmx, and as I write this I find myself asking "why not?"

There are many many ways and this would be choreographed around the venue and the way in which the ceremony is being conducted. I have had a groom arrive by helicopter, by boat, had a bride arrive before a groom, both together and so on.

On a motor bike, a truck, on a haybale on a flatbed truck and lots of variations. you can pm me if you want more detail

What a great idea to think of something unique to enter on.

I have had Bridesmaids and Brides enter on the back of motorcycles which looked really cool and the roar of the Harleys was unmistakable.

And at a recent wedding, the Bride and her Father started walking to traditional music then suddently the music turned to rock and everyone started dancing down the aisle which made the guests eally get in the mood for a great wedding.  Take a look at this site and see if you get any ideas from it:

Let me know how you go.

One very cool entry made by a bride was to live music played by a female relative on the bagpipes.

Another bride entered via live music played on an electric guitar by a friend. Live music is perfect especially if the couple have a close connection to the musician.

You could be piped in, or dance down the aisle or passageway to a beautiful tune. You could enter with a party of friends to a lovely song.

Thereare so many ideas and most of them are here, I agree that the couple meeting at the top of the aisle and walking down together is beautiful. Another thing you could do is ask the guests to hand you flowers as you walk down the aisle and this would be your bouquet. If you ask for certain flowers, or leave the flowers you want with them, it is a beautiful idea and unique.
