Informal Formalities

I'm Mhairi (pronounced "Vari") Clark.

I decided to become a Marriage Celebrant because I enjoy seeing the 'glow' in a couple's eyes when they say: "I do".

Whether you're getting married for the first time, or renewing your vows after many years together, making a lasting commitment to each other, I think sharing your dreams together is at the heart of every loving relationship.

And yours will be such a special occasion. I just know it.

I decided to call myself: 'Informal Formalities', rather than just: Mhairi Clark Marriage Celebrant, because that's exactly what I do - take care of all the formalities (necessary paperwork, legal documents, etc.) in a discreet, informal way, so they don't intrude on 'Your Day'.

When we meet I'll walk you through the steps. We'll have a rehearsal or two so you'll know exactly what's coming and there are no surprises. We'll discuss where, when, how many people will attend, and what theme you'd like (there are dozens to choose from. I'll loan you an 'Ideas Folder'. It makes exploring different ideas and choosing what's right for you, a whole lot easier.)

We'll talk about your vows, choosing some poetry if you'd like to have that, and of course, the music.

It's going to be a magic day and I'll probably enjoy it as much as you do, so let's get started.
