Generally I meet my couples remotely on 'Teams', and then again in person before the big day. When we first meet I like to explain a general format of a wedding ceremony and explain the legals that I need to cover, but I cannot stress enough, it's your day, you can otherwise do whatever you want. I'm here for it! I would LOVE to get to know you both as individuals and as a couple, and support you to create the beautiful, personal and memorable wedding ceremony you'll forever look back on with happy memories.
I am based in Sydney, I travel anywhere in metropolitan Sydney. I am also willing to travel outside of Sydney (I've already performed a number of weddings interstate!) for an additional cost to cover travel.
A minimum of 5 weeks please. I will need a legal document called 'Notice of Intention to Marry', which I can give you at our first meeting. I am required to recieved this, along with your legal, photo IDs with at least 31 days. If you need less time/have special circumstances, please let me know as we may be able to ask for special permission.
I find the 'sweet spot' of a wedding ceremony is about 20 minutes. The legal parts are generally only about 100 words. By the time you include some family and friends in your ceremony, music, aisle walking, and anything else you would like to include (rituals etc). It can be extended or paired down, whatever works for you!
