The short answer is two single people can marry (as long as one is over the age of 18 and the other at least 16 years old), and there are exceptions to this basic rule.  

Here is what the law says, and what is read out at your ceremony:

“Marriage according to law in Australia, is the union of two people to the exclusion of all others, voluntarily entered into for life”… 

Australia now has equal marriage laws to incorporate all identities including people who identify as LGBTIQ.

Most likely your wedding is on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, anywhere from Caloundra to Noosa, or Maroochydore to Kenilworth,However, I’ll travel to your wedding ceremony anywhere in Australia.

I conduct most weddings in the Hinterland of the Sunshine Coast, servicing Maleny, Montville, Flaxton and Mapleton, and along the coast including Noosa Main beach, Noosa Woods, Sunshine Beach, Peregian, Coolum, Marcoola, Maroochydore, Mooloolaba, Kawana, Golden Beach and Caloundra.

I do often travel south to the Gold Coast or to Byron Bay, or north to Rainbow Beach, Hervey Bay and beyond.

A celebrant in Australia can cost anywhere from $400 to $1600.

I give you a premium service, for less cost than others. However, I charge more than the budget celebrant, because I won’t give you a budget service. My fees fall somewhere in between those costs. Ask me for a quote on your particular wedding details.

• Tips on how to overcome nerves or anxiety.
• Tie knotting service for the groom, including the Full Windsor style. Also buttonhole flower pinning
• Care and attention to little personal details

That's where your celebrant can be really helpful. I will listen to where you have got to so far, and help plan the next steps. My aim is to make it easy, yet open to all your ideas.  I will walk beside you in the planning all the way towards your wedding ceremony.

I offer to write up a full script for your ceremony drawing on your story your ideas, your personalities that I glean from discussions.
You can create as much as you wish or else, you need do nothing at all, and I will do it all for you.
