Couples looking for a celebrant who brings warmth, ease, and a personal touch will find Jay a standout choice. Across numerous weddings, he’s described as light, welcoming, and incredibly relaxed—yet still professional and well organized. He’s easy to reach, guides you through the vows and ceremony run sheet, and often doubles as MC, lifting the mood and helping nervous partners feel at ease. Guests consistently comment on a personal, heartfelt, and fun ceremony that doesn’t drag on. He’s adaptable under pressure (even last-minute venue changes or weather hiccups) and leaves you feeling you’ve married a friend, a calm, supportive presence on the day.

Jay Was fantastic as our celebrant , Light and welcoming , exactly what we were after. Jay was also our MC on the night and lifted the mood when required and was very well liked by all who attended.

Jay is absolutely wonderful! From the get-go he was always conactable and hassle-free. Our meeting was super easy-going and Jay's nature really calmed us both leading up to and during the ceremony. We had such a memorable experience on the day, lots of laughs and so many guests commented on how much fun they had during the ceremony. Highly recommended!

Jay you were amazing and we can't thank you enough for the best ceremony we could have asked for. You were relaxed, professional and fun and that's just what we wanted. The ceremony flowed perfectly and you made us feel at ease and enjoy the moment. I can't tell you how many guests commented on the beautiful and personal ceremony and many that are already married wanted to do it all again. Highly recommend you and thank you!

What can we say about Jay. He is truly a great guy and made the whole process so comfortable and relaxing. From the get go when we contacted Jay we knew he was the right person to support us on our wedding day. His friendly, engaging and relaxing manner made us so confident that our wedding day would be special with Jay as our celebrant. He also guided us prior to the day on the runsheet, with the vows and making sure everything was in order for the day. After the ceremony, so many of our guests commented on what a wonderful ceremony it was and how amazing Jay was to make it so memorable, personable and sweet. We can't thank you enough Jay! Lots of love - Soph and Charlie

Jay was recommended to us by a friend who also had him as their celebrant at their wedding. Jay's sincere but casual style was exactly what we were looking for. Both my partner and I are nervous public speakers and he made us so comfortable on the day. He was an absolute legend when we told him we wanted to get married on the top of a mountain and even more so when it started raining halfway through the ceremony! We can't thank him enough for making our day so special :)

Can we involve our child in the vows/ceremony?

Noosa Style Ceremonies

Yes, so many ways to do that and such a great way to help make them feel connected on the day.  I find kids under 4 don't really care on the day (they will later if it's recorded).  Really helpful in situation where there is a celebration of a creation of a new family that the child is a part of from the ceremony.  I've seen gifts, presentations, special vows work well.  A great opportunity to highlight how important they are to you.

Question about marriage

Hi, I am in a long distance relationship with someone in the Philippines. We are looking to get married, but in the Philippines, you need to get your parents consent if you are under 21 and she is 19. If we were to get married in Australia, will she still need parental consent? The reason why we don't want her parents consent is because her mother is emotionally abusive, controlling and toxic. She will never consent to us getting married.

Noosa Style Ceremonies

You just need to be both over 18 in Australia - no consent required for 21 and 19 year olds

How can I tell my sister her kids aren't invited to our wedding?

Hi there. We don't want to have kids at our wedding, but I also don't want to offend my sister. I adore my nieces but we want a particular vibe at our wedding. Any suggestions?

Noosa Style Ceremonies

Great question - I'd go with the tried and true method of wanting your sister to celebrate with you guys without the distractions of her children.  You want your sister to let her hair down, dance and have fun all night - a night off the kids on this one off special occasion - best for everyone!
