A lot of celebrants will tell you there are no fixed prices as each wedding is unique; a “ballpark” figure for a ceremony ranges from $600 to $1500. With the average around $850 plus any extras you might want, such as doves, wine, balloons, etc.
I on the other hand will send you to my webpage which describes all three types of weddings, all of which are tailored to you, and outlines the costs which start at $295.00
I offer an obligation-free consultation for prospective clients. This gives you a chance to meet me in
person and talk through your ideas. I will also explain the legalities involved.
If you decide to go ahead with me, I will ask you for a non-refundable booking fee of $250 to confirm
your booking. This fee is part of the total price and not an extra. I will then start the paperwork process
by filling out a “Notice Of Intended Mariage” This can be done “on the spot” using my portable office system.
• Any travel beyond the greater Melbourne Metro area, this includes car, train, or flight, please ask for a quote as there may also be accommodation charges; (Travel to RACV Goldfields Resort for the ceremony is free). (Travel by car with a return trip of over 100kms is charged at 75c per km).
• Any extras provided by any third party including photographers, entertainment (Music & MC).
• Any permit applications and fees or venue costs and charges.
• Any extra paperwork supplied by a third party and ordered by me at your request.

Shush, that was our little secret, no one was supposed to know about the slide show, hehehehehe :) - Besides which, that was more your handiwork than mine. No seriously, it was my pleasure to be able to help in any way that I could for such a wonderful couple. Wishing you both a long life and lots of happiness.

Can I withdraw the NOIM form if I don’t want to get married anymore? Will all my personal details and information already be entered and saved into government portal after I lodged the NOIM form with the celebrant? How can I get them removed?
Steve King - Celebrant
As far as I'm aware, you should be able to ask your celebrant to ring BDM, explain the wedding has been canceled, and remove the record from the system.
When's the best time to ask your wedding party to be in your wedding party?
Steve King - Celebrant
Oh, now that's a good question, while it's exciting to start planning your wedding right after getting engaged, it's best to wait for just a little while (but not too long) before asking your wedding party to be a part of your special day. Plan your wedding first.
If you're planning a destination wedding or require your wedding party to wear specific attire, it's imperative to give them plenty of notice so they can make travel arrangements and order their attire.
It's crucial to give them plenty of notice, so they have time to plan accordingly. Asking someone to be in your wedding party is a big deal, and it's essential to do it with the right kind of energy and enthusiasm. Remember, your wedding party is there to celebrate your love and make your day special, so it's essential to ask them with love, respect, and enthusiasm.
Is there anyway possible to get married without witnesses
Can you be married without witnesses in the same room. As I have anxiety issues and I don't do very well around other people.
Steve King - Celebrant
It would be nice to be able to help you with your anxiety issues, and I guess if you ask someone close to you who understands you, it might help, but the Marriage Act does state that two people over the age of 18 MUST witness the ceremony and sign a legal document as proof.
