I have been a professional celebrant since March 2009 and conducted nearly 1000 weddings......all fantastic, and all different. David guided us every step of the way from the initial meeting to the reading of the draft ceremony wordings to the actual day! We got so many compliments on how great he was, the gravitas he presented with and how there wasn’t a second where they thought it was boring or lost concentration. My bridal party also were really impressed with the detail he went into at the rehearsal and the guidance provided on the day itself, no one felt anxious before walking out. Thank you for making our ceremony one to remember, we really appreciate it!

David just makes you feel comfortable from the forst time you meet him and right through the whole marriage process. From all the weddings we had been to, he is truly the standout and can feel that he loves his profession. David has planning absolutely nailed! Can a person with student/travel visa gets married in Australia?

During my trip to Melbourne, my partner proposed to me and we are planning to get married in Australia. However, he is holding a student visa while I'm traveling on a tourist visa. Please advice, thanks :)

Professional Ceremonies - David Schneider

There is absolutely no problem with you being married in Australia. As long as you have given the required one month's waiting notice and waiting period then you are fine to be married. Your celebrant will help you with the required legal work, but remember, without the one months waiting period, which commences when the celebrant gets your Notice of Intended Marriage form, you will not be married.
