Joan Kent Justice of the Peace for over 22 years...Marriage Civil Celebrant nearly 21 years.

I am very able to help, complete and witness legal documents and immigration documents. I really enjoy my weddings where one or both parties are from overseas and try to bring some of their cultures into the marriage ceremony.

I have been very privileged to be able to celebrate and enjoy each ceremony and believe in this blessing of marriage between a couples.

I encourage couples to make their ceremonies on their own and to assist in this, over the years I have developed a mix and match booklet for ideas and suggest that they can also use the internet for ideas.

I love it when family members and friends partake in a ceremony.  The Rose, Sand, Wine, Candle, Readings and any others the couple ceremony the couple would like to include, can be done by their guests.

Over the year I have taken on aboard suggestions from photographers about what creates a great memory and will very rarely be in a photo, I like to stand off to the side so that the guests are involved as well.
