OVERVIEW
Your wedding should be as unique as your love story, which is why Sue George, a laidback, fun-loving celebrant from southwest Victoria, crafts fully customised ceremonies. Word-savvy and creative, Sue - the owner of Always Bespoke Ceremonies - will write you a wholly bespoke ceremony that’s chock-full of personal references, emotion, and gorgeous mentions - no stock-standard ceremonies in sight.
Celebrant Sue George of Always Bespoke Ceremonies thoroughly enjoys officiating magical wedding ceremonies - whether they're in a hot air balloon, at the beach, or at a quaint garden venue. Indeed, this Melbourne-based celebrant derives great happiness from seeing her couples' smiling faces at the altar and does everything she can to make that happen.
To Sue, this means creating the memorable, romantic ceremony of their wildest dreams. This is why she crafts bespoke ceremony scripts and offers a unique service: custom poetry and readings. Personalised and meaningful, Sue's poetry and readings will undoubtedly bring tears to your guests' eyes.
“Aside from the legal aspects of your ceremony this will be all about you two. Cartwheeling down the aisle? Hot air ballooning at Sunrise? Quiet location with just the two of you and your witnesses? Whatever your dream wedding, we can make it your reality.” Sue

FAQ
Sure do! Where ever you need me to be. Sometimes there might be an additional charge, but my job is to make your day exactly what you want, and that includes where you want to get hitched! Standard boundaries are Lorne, Terang and Pt Campbell. Basically, further than those costs 70c per km.
Depending on the location though, we can always negotiate, cause we love to travel too!
Generally, nope. Not as far as i'm concerned anyway. Sometimes councils etc make life a little tricky though. Talk to me about where you want to get married and I can make the enquiries for you, and let you know what you need to do. Essentially, Public spaces need a licence and we can get those sorted without too many dramas or red tape.
Yes, I do, and No there isn't.
Look, weddings are not much fun without music, and for that reason i provide a PA which will suit a wedding of up to 100 people without a drama, for free. I can also prepare your music and have someone look after that (free) or you can have someone hook their phone up and do it for you. I have two microphones, so if you have other people speaking that's easy done.
Do you know I can also arrange an Master of Ceremonies for you if you like? (he's not free but he's amazing!)
Bespoke ; "Made for a particular customer or user"
A lot of weddings are reasonably stock standard with their wording, or quite pricey if they are fully tailored. With me you get an affordable price point, and a fully tailored ceremony. Complete with a reading or poem that is truly yours. (Watch my video of one of my Bespoke Poems at a wedding)
When you tell me your story, I go away, float that story in my head and come back with a funny, sweet poem that you can use as a reading and keep forever. The rest of the ceremony will also be personally written for you. Nothing is "standard" when I create your wedding, from your vows, the readings, the rituals you incorporate, or the memories you take away. And the price tag? You've got better things to spend your money on than a celebrant who makes your day truly yours.
Oh, and if you've got something special to add into the day, we can arrange that too. You might want to have your naming day for your child, or a blending ceremony if it's a second marriage, or anything else your heart desires.
A traditional ceremony is conducted by a priest in a church where as a civil ceremony can be anything you like, any place you like.
