Mary has been a celebrant since 2014 and has a wealth of experience as a marriage celebrant. Mary will listen to all of your ideas and will create a ceremony that reflects both your personalities and values. As well as local weddings, Mary is experienced in supporting destination weddings for those of you planning something special on the mid north coast!
One of the biggest benefits of working with Mary is her ability to provide guidance and support throughout the entire planning process. She offers the use of the PA system during the ceremony for your music needs and provides a signing table if required. Mary is there every step of the way to help couples make informed decisions and create a ceremony that truly represents them. She takes the stress out of the ceremony for you.
She is based on the Mid North Coast near Bowraville and services the area from Port Macquarie, to Red Rock and out to Dorrigo as well as everywhere in between!
Mary is happy to have an initial meeting so you can see if she is the celebrant for you, afterall, your celebrant will be helping you create the memories of a life time so you want to be comfortable with your choice!

Hi,
Sometimes couples use vow booklets but I also like to put their vows into the copy of the ceremony I give to them so they can keep in for prosperity with their ceremony. I also offer to print the couple's vows on card and bring it with me so they don't have to worry about having to bring them with them and accidently forgetting the vows. If the vows aren't too long, I also incorporate the private vows in a repeat after me after the legal vows are completed.
As long as the vows come from the heart - they will be perfect regardless.

What's the usual order of events in a wedding ceremony?
Creative Celebrations by Mary
You are in charge of your wedding and how it runs. There is some legal wording that must be included, the monitum said by the celebrant and some legal vows said by the couple - if you are writing your own vows, they follow the legal wording. There is a usual format which includes:
a welcome to the guests;
the 'giving away of the bride';
an introduction - which can include readings and the monitum;
declaration of intent (coloquially known as the 'I do's!')
your vows;
Ring exchange;
pronouncement of marriage;
the kiss
signing the register
wedding well wishes/blessing.
As I mentioned earlier - this is a guide, you are in charge of your wedding so this format can be changed to suit the couple. Your celebrant can guide you when they write the ceremony for you.

Hi,
Every wedding is different and so is every couple. If the groom is not having a wedding ring, then you can still have the exchanging of the rings however the one ring will become the symbol of your marriage for both of you. The wording is easily changed to suit the couple to ensure the symbolism and the exchange is just as magical as if both the bride and the groom are receiving rings.
