Katie was warm, calm and very friendly. She was flexible, relaxed, and well presented. We appreciated her patience while our family was experiencing a difficult time. She let us feel empowered to do things how we wanted and ensured the day ran smoothly.

I am so glad that we had Katie was a part of our day, she has an amazing friendly/bubbly energy about her. I was also very nervous about speaking in front of everyone and she instantly calmed me with her warm smile as I stood up there with my husband :) such great memories, highly recommend! :)

Why do you have to kiss at the wedding ceremony?

Does it actually serve a purpose or is it just a thing people do...?

Katie Weeks - Celebrant

Hi Hayley, It was once believed that the first kiss as husband and wife was the uniting of their souls. I guess nowadays its more tradition at the end of the service...Kind of like sealing the deal " Sealed with a kiss" :-)

Help! I need vows help, I honestly have no idea what to say! I love her. What else should I say?

I asked my friends and they said it'd come to me. It hasn't. I am freaking out!!!

Katie Weeks - Celebrant

Hi Melissa, I normally give some suggestions of vows just to give you a starting point. You can always google "wedding vows" Or try doing dot points of all the things you love about your partner, then it should be easier to write it into sentences and make it flow. your celebrant may be able to give you hand if you are having too much trouble :-)
