About
The Fabulous Wonder Mama is a drag persona I have been performing for 10 years now when she first appeared in the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras! As Renny though, im a former artist and graphic designer having worked in the design field for almost 20 years and have published a number of storybooks and started hosting Drawing Workshops during the covid pandemic as online zoom classes and now run my studio in Surry Hills!

Our Main Studio is located in Surry Hills at Create and Make Workshops on Elizabeth Street! Great location very close to all public transport and Central Station! In walking distance to great restaurants, bars, pubs and nightlife in the East Sydney area!
Our Venue can accommodate up to 20-25 guests but if youre a bigger event we have a number of other venues that we use that can fit more people!
We can also travel to your venue or workplace
We cater for groups of 10-25 at our Surry Hills studio
The minimum booking is charged for 10 guests however if you have less than 10 we still accommodate your booking but the minimum charge will be for 10.
We can cater for bigger groups at other venues we often use.
Definitely Not!
The class is designed for beginners through to advanced artist so there is nothing to worry about!
In my experience of teaching these classes, the most fearful guests end up creating some of the most fab art!!

Draw with a Drag Queen - Oil Pastel Drawing Class with the pizazz and sass of a Drag Queen Host, Wonder Mama
Naughty Painting - Paint a Plaster Willy as well as Watercolour artwork on A4 paper hosted by one of our drag queens
Life Drawing - Draw a life model, clothed or nude options available!
Erotic Pottery - Use Air Dry Clay to create some fun and outrageous naughty sculptures guided by our drag queen host
Paint Pouring - Get artistic and learn to create fabulous works of art with some paint pouring techniques
Sculpt your Mate/Date - Create a fun sculpture of your mate/date in this workshop full of laughs!

We offer Trivia and Bingo Events hosted by our drag queens!
Not all of them, no!
Some of our classes are hosted by drag queens but we can offer workshops without drag queens too if thats not your cup of tea - Just let us know!
Classes usually run between 1.5 to 2.5 hours depending on the class.
Guests also have the option to hire the venue for an extra hour for games or extra socialising beyond the classes.
We are not licensed but guests are welcome to bring their own drinks and food.
We ask guests to arrive 15 mins prior to their booking to set up food/drink etc so the class can start on time.
For classes over 10 guests we do not supply glassware therefore we ask guests to bring their own plastic cups.
We have limited plates and cutlery too.
