OVERVIEW
Man About Town — Sydney's wedding suit hire specialists
Dressed for the occasion. We do one thing, as it used to be done, suits and tuxedos for weddings, black tie, and the events in between, fitted on the floor, pressed for the day, and returned on the Monday.
A family-run Sydney institution for over 35 years, our CBD showroom near Town Hall dresses the whole wedding party, groom, groomsmen, and father of the bride, as one, with the groom always a step apart. Every hire is fitted on-site and altered in-house by hand; nothing is sent away.
Same-day service available — walk in and walk out within the hour when time is tight. Interstate groomsmen simply send measurements and we coordinate a matching party from a single booking.
What's included: jacket, trousers, waistcoat, dress shirt, tie or bow tie, pocket square, braces and accessories. Complete suit hire from $250–$330; dress shoes $50. Alterations included, no dry-cleaning on return.
Styles: black peak-lapel and shawl-collar tuxedos, navy tuxedo, ivory shawl collar, white dinner jacket, evening tails, morning suits, and navy or grey lounge suits.
Book 6–8 weeks ahead for weddings — or come in same-day.

We are still going ahead with our wedding ceremony despite the restrictions. But I'm wondering how my husband-to-be will be able to get fitted for a suit? How are formal wear stores doing their fittings/appointments at the moment?

What can the Groom wear for a summer wedding?
We're getting married in February in Brisbane and it's very likely to be hot and sticky. Now, I want my fiance to look sharp, but I don't want him to suffer either. What do you suggest he wear? (Don't worry about best man or groomsmen, we're not having any.) It's a garden ceremony in the shade, and the bride is wearing a simple tea-length dress, if that makes a difference.

Hi Sarah
Best to wear a nice cool wool suit, and an good quality white cotton shirt.
Tie is optional, depends how formal you want the groom to look.
Avoid Polyviscose.
Hope this is of help
Kind regards
