Dunbar House was absolutely fantastic as our wedding reception venue! We found it so easy to deal with their wonderful team, no question was too big or too small for them to answer.
The staff on the night were exceptional, so attentive and professional.
Food was out of this world, we had so many compliments on the delicious dishes
Really beautiful venue and easy to work with and dress up, it's so well maintained it doesn't need a lot of extra decorations and details
It really was a fabulous experience overall. Weddings are obviously really stressful – and when it came to the reception, I knew I didn’t have to worry about anything at all! From start to finish, the staff were fabulous - guiding you through everything involved. The location is hard to beat, especially for sunset pictures, and the heritage building is gorgeous. Great staff that went above and beyond on the day, fab food which all of our guests raved about - was just an awesome place for our reception. Truly memorable
The day was great, the venue was fantastic. The majority of the reception went through flawlessly. One issue however was the servers did not come around with refills/top-ups or new drinks as quickly or as often as expected.
Even though our wedding host quit before our wedding, the manager took charge and made us feel at ease. On the day Cassie was allocated to us and everything ran so smoothly. Dunbar house is an amazing venue
This venue was amazing, we had a smaller wedding in October 2018. The area is so picturesque and the decor in the venue is great too.
Nothing was too hard for the staff and they were just wonderful throughout!
Thank you Dunbar!
They were great! They provided a list of preferred suppliers which helped make everything so easy. Food was amazing, everyone loved it, not one complaint. The wedding coordinator was also amazing, I had red wine spilt all over me and she managed to get it out.
They were fantastic! We had an event manager previous to the wedding and then a coordinator on the day, the handover between the two was great. On the night they made sure the Bridal table & parents were always attended to. Our drinks were constantly being filled up, didn't have an empty glass all night. They service was great and so was the food.
