Yes, with notice our kitchen crew will prepare individual dishes for those with specific dietary requirements. We just need to know who they are and what their requirements / allergies are in the weeks leading up to the event. Our professional team will take care of the rest.

FAQ

How many people can Salsa cater for?

For a sit down reception up to 110 guests

For a stand-up canape reception up to 200 guests

Do you charge a venue hire fee?

No, we simply require a minimum spend amount to be achieved on the day of the event. This amount is made up by the food, drinks and our service fee.

Can I have entertainment?

Yes, for sole use bookings only. Entertainment can be booked when the entire venue is booked for a reception. We do have to adhere to local council noise restrictions however with no sound being louder than 88 decibels and must conclude no later than 11:30pm.

How much are your menus?

Our menu packages start from $75 per person and can be a combination of canapes and set menu options. See the menus tab on our website.

Do you do beverage packages?

Yes, we now have the option for our clients to book a beverage package starting from $48pp for 2 hours and ranging up to $90pp for a 4 hour GOLD beverage package. Alternatively, beverages can be on consumption.

We were fortunate enough to have held our wedding reception at Salsa and WOW is all we can say. From start to finish, everything was expertly handled and made the evening so incredibly seamless. From the staff and service to the food and of course, the location - we couldn't fault a single thing! Every single person who attended has complimented how incredible the food was and how fantastic the service was. The staff were beyond helpful in setting things up for us and also packing up, they made sure everyone's drinks were topped up and the food was phenomenal. Salsa was the perfect place for a tropical Port Douglas wedding and we would recommend it to everyone. You can't go wrong with Salsa! A special thank you to Rhys, Sophie and the team for making our day so perfect - you guys are the best!

AMAZING! Salsa bar went above and beyond anything I could have imagined. Shortly before our wedding we had a huge family tragedy and nearly had to postpone our wedding. The staff upon hearing our news were nothing but accomodating. Our wedding thank goodness went ahead and I could not have been happier. The food was incredible, all the guests commented about how amazing it was. But probably the stand out from all of our guests and myself (apart from the food) was the service and their attention to detail. I had some of my guests come up to me the following day and let me know that their waitress was finishing her shift for the evening and came over to the table to thank them for being wonderful and wish them all the best for the evening and even introduce the staff member who would be taking over. How incredible!!!

We had our wedding reception at Salsa Bar and Grill and we could have been happier with everything. Salsa has always been a favorite restaurant for us so that made the initial decision easier. However what made everything so perfect was how easy the staff made it for us. We had a small wedding so only took half the restaurant. Salsa arranged for a curtain to be hung to separate us from the rest of the restaurant, giving us a private feel but also being open to the street view. I have a number of friends who keep telling everyone it was the best wedding they have been to and when I ask why a big part of it was the reception, selection and quality of food and the exceptional service from the staff. Thanks for making our special day such a great event!
