We recently had Rob as our videographer for our wedding in Port Douglas. Rob did an amazing job of capturing our special moments both from the chapel and well into our reception. He was so easy to get along with and casual, yet delivered a top class service. We have loved our video, of which we received within 3 weeks of getting married, as he promised. I would have no hesitation in recommending Rob as a videographer for future brides.

We were recently lucky to have had Nick as our celebrant, plus MC, plus DJ for our wedding in Port Douglas. From our first point of contact through until our special day, Nick was so easy to liase with. he was extremely welcoming and took a genuine interest in getting to know us in an effort to be the best of all 3 of those roles. We did not feel like it was a tick and flick job for him, which made dealing with him such a pleasure. Nick was also very much on board with helping me play a joke on my FH directly before our ceremony, Nick has a playful nature and very much lives up to his claim of being a Fun Celebrant. While we were allocated Nick as part of our package, if I was to do this again, I would not want anyone else and I would again choose Nick.

Marriage Celebrants

We were recently lucky enough to have our wedding reception at Salsa in Port Douglas. Rhys, Paul & the team were nothing short of amazing. From the first point of contact right through to our day, both were extremely professional & patient when I was asking silly questions as I was a clueless bride to be. When we met the day before the wedding as a run through, Paul offered to have any items for our reception to be dropped off that afternoon and he and his team will place them. This gesture alone speaks volumes on the level of service they provide & their commitment to ensure we had less to worry about. We had a canape style reception for 80 guests and nearly all of our guests made a real point to tell me the food they were served and the table service they received for drinks was extremely impressive. I would have no hesitation in recommending Salsa to anyone in the future.

I cannot praise enough or find the words to portray how pleased we were with Sobha for her management of our special day with absolutely no hiccups. From the very first point of contact, through to the end of our wedding Sobha eliminated any stress or angst we had with organising a destination wedding in Port Douglas from Sydney. She was always very responsive and no request or question was ever an issue. Sobha is extremely knowledgable and her guidance through the whole process was so valuable. Sobha is extremely professional and it was such a privilege to work with her & I would have no hesitation in recommending PD weddings/Shoba to anyone in the future.

Wedding Services

We were provided Eventcore as part of a package for our recent wedding in Port Douglas, and we are so extremely grateful with what they provided. Kylie was so easy to communicate with, she has a very keen eye for detail and her passion for this service really shines through. Our biggest appreciation was for her assuring us that she & her team will be there well in time for setting up, and for the packdown, on the notion that we did not need to be there or worry about anything at all. This part of the service was so valuable to us. Kylie even orchestrated the task of packing down and keeping the personal items we contributed ( Wedding Sign, personalised table decorations and our wedding guest book ) boxed nicely for us to collect the next day. No task was too much trouble and I would not hesitate to recommend in the future.

Carmel & Maddie recently done mine and my bridal groups hair and makeup. Their workmanship is nothing short of masterpieces, we had so many comments on how lovely both our hair and makeup looked on our day. They are extremely talented and passionate in their work and encouraged us to advise if we didn’t feel something was right. They were not offended in any way when we asked for ( minimal ) changes. The products they use are of extremely high standard and more importantly we did not feel rushed in any way. They really made the day a lot of fun for us and we appreciated their teamwork throughout the day to deliver a service that was nothing short of perfect for us. I would have no hesitation in recommending to any future bride.

Wedding Hair and Makeup

Candace and her team done an exceptional job with the arrangement of our florals for our recent wedding in Port Douglas. We did not have a bridal party so didn’t need the bridal party bouquets/groomsmen buttonhole flowers that were included in our package, but Candace was more than happy to swap these into arrangements for the chapel and then to also organise for them to be transferred across the road to our venue. We appreciated the very helpful nature of Floral Edge which is not seen often enough in these times.
