House of Gowns is a mother daughter business that was born one afternoon over a well earned glass of wine after another day of fruitless shopping for a dress to suit my 5 bridesmaids. After searching high and low for something that suited these 5 gorgeous, but very different girls we ended up buying online and it was not a pleasant experience! We decided no bride should have to feel this stressed about her bridesmaids gowns and be able to find a store to shop at and so came House of Gowns!

Bridal appointments are strictly 1 hour, if you would like more time to keep trying on, you are welcome to continue and one of our floor staff will be able to assist you
Currently we do not offer in house alterations
If you have already picked your shoes for the big day then it is a great idea to bring them along. If you haven't thats ok too as all our dresses come with plenty of length to allow for whatever footwear you may end up choosing
Gowns take 15-18 weeks to arrive in store (excluding Tina Holly which can be considerably longer)
No, our gowns are made to standard sizing. Once you have choosen your dream gown we will measure your bust, waist and hips and select the most appropriate STANDARD size from the manfactures size chart. ALL gowns will require alterations to ensure a perfect fit for your big day
