The POLKA story began six years ago…

In 2009, two fashion inspired sisters came together to open up the doors to their first concept store. With a common interest in high-end, sophisticated, unique fashion they put together stylish collections for their clients who like to make a statement in today’s fast pace world.

The sister’s European background allows them to access many unique new designers with exciting ideas and access fresh designs and concepts that are not available elsewhere in the market.

Both sisters have a unique, but different, sense of individual style:
• One sister is edgy, has a love for tailored pieces & cannot go past bold accessories to complete her outfit.
• The other sister is flirty loves bright colours, textured fabrics & has an obsession for embellishments and sparkly things!

With their combined passion, they opened the first POLKA store (POLKA meaning Polish lady in polish) in 2009.

The unique style and variety of local and international brands on offer became increasingly popular. The sisters opened the doors to their second concept store in 2012 in the Melbourne bayside suburb of Mentone. The Mentone store continues to offer customers beautiful collections of sophisticated casual wear, as well as gorgeous beach wear.

The sisters continue to pride themselves on individuality as well as quality of the collections on offer.
