My now husband proposed on Easter, that same day we found out his fathers cancer was terminal. We wanted him to be at the wedding - Elm was our first pick for location but of course you have to book in advance. Laura was very accomodating and offered a mid-week date, we declined however. We were lucky to get a cancellation date for August. We got to visit Elm House before placing our deposit and visit again with our wedding planner to map out the day. The all inclusive ceremony and reception venue is stunning - perfect for an intimate wedding (there was less than 30 at our wedding) you also get to use the attached air bnb for the night before and night of for getting ready. Elm house has a list of recommended suppliers/vendors which I highly recommend using. They all know each other and the venue and because of this the whole experience was stress free! We had a winter wedding and it was cozy with the doors closed and the fireplace going. All the guests felt very connected without being too crowded. So if you are looking for a venue for an intimate wedding (with wheelchair access i might add) then I highly recommend Elm house!
