Helen is just lovely. She spent time talking with me about my ideas for bouquets, and also let me know what was in season and what would work. She delivered the bouquets and buttonholes herself, and I couldn't be happier. The colours were just right, and I'm now drying my bouquet to keep! Helen had also done the flowers for my sister's wedding - we both dried and kept our bouquets, and we liked her so much that I asked her to do my wedding!

Although my initial appointment was a little scattered (I think they were a little understaffed on that day), once things settled down, I was given a good level of attention. I ended up finding my dress after only about 5 tries, and I didn't need to go to any other shops. The dress maker, Shiva (who is her own business but operates through Ferrari in Ballarat) was fantastic. She is a gentle person, and knew exactly how to make the dress look amazing for me.

Lisa did a great job with our hair and make up. She's relaxed and puts people at ease. She listened to our ideas, and we had a great, natural style for our make up, and I loved my updo hair. Lisa had done my sister's wedding, and we were so happy with her that I asked her to do my wedding.

As soon as we saw Glen Erin, we knew it was right for us. They had so much flexibility, were so accomodating of our ideas and Kim's attention to detail is second to none. The venue is beautiful, at any time of year, and we loved our winter wedding. We ended up having the ceremony in the toasty chapel, and outside for photos. There are SO many amazing sites for photos. Food and wine - just perfect, down to the very last cheese platter. Cake and flower decorations were all included as part of the package which was perfect for us. We brought some additional decorations of our own that Kim and her team did an incredible job of setting up. We had a few small children as guests, and the staff at the venue were just gorgeous with them. All of the staff were amazingly attentive to us and our guests - can't speak highly enough of them. We stayed onsite after the wedding (as did several of our guests) - super comfortable accomodation, and breakfast the next day was a perfect ending to a very very special weekend.

Vanessa did a wonderful job DJing our wedding, taking requests from our guests, and accommodating the wishes of our smallest people - yes, she did have music from Frozen! We had supplied some ideas for dinner and after dinner music, and Vanessa used some of these and also her own ideas, responding to the guests. Thanks Vanessa!

Paul was a wonderful celebrant and we highly recommend him. He comes with his own roadie (in our case, his lovely daughter), and does everything to put people at ease. We were comfortable with him from the beginning, and found him really easy to communicate with. He supported us with many ideas and reading suggestions as we planned our service, and was very sensitive to our style. He injected a lot of humour into our service which we loved, and he took our entourage of small people in his stride. We also loved his 'journey to today' that he wrote for us, and the beautiful personalised candle. We had so many comments from our family and friends about how special the service was, and we thank Paul deeply for his important role in our wedding.
