The photos speak for themselves – natural, beautiful, professional. Ben is hands down the best, and now we have magical fairytale-esque photos to treasure forever. And he captured the yellow yet outdoors theme perfectly (thank you Canberra autumn!!)

Fantastic DJ – accepted my last minute requirements and had guests dancing all night long!! He worked so well with my MC (brother) and we couldn’t thank him enough for bringing the ‘party’ factor to our wedding.

Erin the makeup artist was fantastic! We wanted a natural look and she managed to find the balance between enough makeup to show up in photos, and not too much that we felt we were in drag. Really impressed with her skills. Mayia did a wonderful job of our hairstyles! We were pampered and felt so glam afterwards. Her creativity really enhanced the design I liked!

I went to wedding dress shop after wedding dress shop looking for the perfect gown. Finally I found a shop that had a few dresses I liked, but as I lived in a different state to my bridesmaids and mum, I had to Skype! Mum flew over for the occasion, but the bridesmaids couldn’t, so in the middle of a busy dress shop there was my mum holding a phone and a laptop skyping two bridesmaids at a time, and all that could be heard through the shop was screaming and excitement from a speaker! Yet no one in the shop seemed to mind. It was hilarious. I was torn between two dresses but decided on the cheaper of the two, not feeling 100% in my mind that I'd made the right choice. As we were paying, I turned around and saw two brides trying on both the dresses I liked! It was great to see them next to each other, and it cemented my decision!! I LOVED my dress!

This was the only honeymoon we were going to get, so we forked out a bit extra and stayed somewhere nice. Giant stone bath tub, enormous double shower and double vanity, big comfortable bed, with stylish art decorating all the walls, lounge room and beautifully presented dim lighting on entry. Not to mention, downstairs is Max Brenner (the same café we went the day he proposed). What an awesome way to wrap up the wedding.

One of my favorite wedding photos has my shoes in it! Despite wanting a rustic woodland/forest scene for my wedding photos, I chose a very delicate dress – which meant lots of hoisting up as walking. Who says you don’t see your wedding shoes on the day? :’D
