HANDS DOWN, THE BEST INVESTMENT FOR OUR WEDDING DAY! If there was one piece of advice I could give to future brides, it would be to find a wedding planner. Preferably, one you gel with from the get-go. One who can see your vision and who shares in your dreams. One who gets you, quirks and all. One who makes you feel like you're the only client on the planet. One who makes you stress about reviews, because no words can ever explain how incredible she is, no matter how many drafts you type. One who makes you cry when you think about how you won't get to talk with her every day after the wedding is over. One like Kirsty, from Storybook & Co., who I will be indebted to, for the rest of my life.

The Cake. OMG. Diana provided outstanding service from the very beginning and my mouth still waters thinking about the flavours of our cake! She nailed the design better than we could have imagined and was just so lovely to deal with! My only regret was not ordering a second cake, another 20 odd kgs of cake that we could indulge in ourselves and not have to share with our guests! We were expecting to have tonnes of leftovers (we ordered a larger cake for this reason), but the entire cake was gone by the end of the night!! If that doesn't prove her worth than I don't know what would!

Ben from G&M was incredible. From the multiple meetings with him before the wedding where my (now) husband and I realized we have zero compatibility when it comes to music, to the custom edit he did for my aisle song, to being there on the day from morning to night and never once giving up even when the dance floor was empty! He managed to get the party started eventually, and his timing was always impeccable during the key moments. G&M's planning portal was super easy to use and put my mind at ease knowing I could triple check the songs every day to make sure nothing was going to be missed!

We were lucky enough to secure Casey for our photography and her husband Alexei for our videography. The photos that we have received back (in record time, might I add) are absolutely divine. Casey has a knack for capturing those split-second moments where a smile would otherwise go unnoticed, and we laughed at all the hilarious faces she captured of our guests throughout the night. We never felt awkward during the portrait shots, and we didn't notice her presence at all during the candid ceremony and reception shots. The value with the photography & videography package was outstanding!

After 14 site inspections, shortlisted from about 25 venue enquiries, Gabbinbar Homestead won by a mile! The place is pure magic. The food is incredible. The service was next to none. The gardens are outstanding and the night garden brings an entirely new dimension to the place. Although it was on the pricier side and we did have some minor mishaps with communication (nothing that the guests noticed on the night), we would not hesitate to recommend Gabbinbar to any couple after a romantic, elegant, princess-style, fairytale, or old world wedding.

Rachel is one of the most beautiful souls we have come across. From the very first meeting she set our minds at ease about everything, mainly just with her calming nature and infectious smile! There was never anything too difficult for Rach and we laughed so much together as we got to know each other. The stand out for us with Rachel compared to the other celebrants that we met with, was the way she went about writing our love story. It ended up being a surprise for Cameron and I on the day of our wedding which really helped us be present in the moment as we listened intently on what she was saying. We also loved that she didn't stand up there reading off an ipad - instead she uses a monogrammed folder and personalized vow cards, nothing but class with this lady!
