We booked Riverside Receptions because we were referred by friends and family who had been to the venue before. We chose the venue because of the beautiful Jacaranda tree on the lawn with river in the background, which was the perfect setting for our ceremony. The River Room provided a relaxed and cosy atmosphere for our reception. It is a truly beautiful spot to have a wedding and this is reflected in all our photos. Declan was extremely helpful from booking to the completion of our wedding. He was highly helpful in regard to answering questions, solving problems and being very responsive to emails and phone calls. Declan is professional and completely understands the ins and outs of weddings and thinks of things you may not have considered. The venue provides an option to have the ceremony inside if it rains. On our wedding day, the venue was conscious of the weather and allowed the guests to stay inside until the weather cleared. It rained for part of our ceremony, but it was amazing and at the end we had a rainbow. The venue allows for guests to bring in lawn games for guests to enjoy while you are off taking photos. We did a set menu and had everyone compliment the food choices and the chefs on being able to prepare the food consistently for all guests. Riverside Receptions was priced extremely well for the location and the food package provided. Overall great food, atmosphere, location and communication.

Lorraine is a thorough and organised celebrant. We chose Lorraine because she had great reviews and she had married one of our friends. Lorraine made us feel calm and comfortable throughout the whole process. We met with Lorraine a number of times to discuss what we envisioned our ceremony to be like, so she could get a feel of who were as individuals and a couple and to finalise details. She explained all the legal aspects of the ceremony and gave us many options to choose from for each part of the ceremony as well as comprehensive ideas on how to start our vows. We worked with Lorraine to write our ceremony so that it reflected us as a couple and we felt comfortable. Lorraine gave us options about where to stand and seating of guests and really thought about ways to ensure that everyone enjoyed the ceremony. All our guests commented on how beautiful the ceremony was and how lovely she was. She remained in contact with us from initial booking to after the wedding. Lorraine helped ensure that all the paperwork was filled out accurately and meant we got our marriage certificate a week after our wedding. We cannot thank Lorraine enough for making our ceremony personal and heartful. Thanks for making our day so wonderful!

Marriage Celebrants

We decided to hire a Kombi for our wedding day because we wanted a more relaxed feel and had to transport a large wedding party to the venue and to and from photos. Kool Kombi and Bug Hire have multiple Kombi’s to choose from and a range of different colours to suit your theme. Colleen was easy to communicate with and clearly outlined what could be included in our package. On our wedding day Colleen picked up the boys from one location, the girls from another, did two trips to a local photography location and back to the venue. During our ceremony it was raining, and we had left the umbrellas in the car. Colleen brought them out to us so that we were able to stay dry. She provided us with water to keep us hydrated, which is highly important on your wedding day! Colleen had wedding themed playlist which added to the fun during the trips. We took many photos with the Kombi and will enjoy the memories we made for years to come. Overall, Colleen was great at communicating, friendly, provided us with a relaxed travel experience and the Kombi was immaculate. Highly recommend!

Luv Bridal had helpful workers that helped with choosing and fitting dresses. They didn't have a limit on the number of dresses you could try. I found my dress after trying on 4 dresses.
