The Sands Resort in Torquay was an amazing place to have our coastal themed wedding in November 2016. All the staff on the night were so helpful and accomodating. Our wedding coordinator Milly Keys went above and beyond for us to make sure our day was perfectly planned with all the small details & was prompt with all communications. My new husband and I got so many comments on the amazing location being perfect having everything all on site - ceremony on the Hanners Lawn, restaurant directly next door for guests to go and have drinks/nibbles while he snuck off to get photos and then having the function room right down the hall with optional accomodation for guests to stay the weekend. It was great for my father also who was in a wheelchair as it was all on the flat. Highly recommend this spot for anyone wanting to have a coastal wedding as Whites Beach is straight across the road within walking distance and we had beautiful photos with sandunes in the beach on site.

A beautiful studio by Wendy Makin just off the hussle and bussle of Collins St Melbourne. The ladies were so lovely and made me feel very comfortable being a plus size bride. Offered alot of different designs and quality made dresses. Very accomodating for travelling brides who are coming in from out of town offering weekend appointments. Would go back in a heartbeat!

We had a 3 tier white mud naked cake for our Wedding Cake which was inspired by a picture I found on Pinterest. Claire is so talented and was able to bring the vision to life! All of our wedding guests went back for seconds and complimented us on how delicious the cake was. It was super helpful that Claire's shop was only the next suburb over from ours and had many display cakes to get an idea of size etc. She was even so lovely to lend us a wood slice and cake stand at no extra cost for the night! Would highly recommend her for a quality cake and will be sure to go back and get cakes for our special occasions!
