Julie at Refined Makeup Artisty is a real gem. Despite a few hiccups related to my booked in hairdresser falling ill, throughout it all Julie was pro-active, honest and did everything within her power to find a solution I was happy with. In the end, I was blown away but Julie’s professionalism, good humour, and ability to get things done despite difficult (and very human!) circumstances. My makeup was stunning, as was my hair, (thanks to Alissa!) and my family who also got theirs done were super happy. Julie does everything with a smile and has an excellent team backing her up. If you are getting married in the Hunter region I would highly recommend Julie and her team. Pricing was incredibly reasonable and she really outdid herself. Five stars, Julie. Thanks for making everything happen! <3

DELICIOUS CAKE. And such friendly staff. Not cheap but you certainly get what you pay for. Drop in for a tasting and you won't look back. Can highly recommend the caramel mud cake and cherry ripe mud cake flavours. Buttercream was WOW. Guests devoured it all.

We chose Leanne's 'Simple N Sweet' package because we wanted to get legally married before our big day and then have a close friend be our 'celebrant' at our wedding. Very good value and cheaper than going to the NSW Registry Office!! Leanne was quick to respond, friendly and all together very easy to deal with. Would recommend.

Jade and Jason photographed our wedding in September 2018. I couldn't speak more highly of them. They are the perfect mix of friendly and professional. On the day they managed to be inconspicuous and yet always there to capture the special moments. We loved their 'candid' style (as opposed to asking people to pose for photos). Our guests commented that they worked really hard and always had a smile, which I totally agree with. Our photos turned out wonderfully. I'd recommend you book them for the full day session. We had a 'pre-wed' session included in our package, which was a great way to get to know Jade and get comfortable with it all. Thanks to MOW for making our day so special.

The new Woodhouse building is stunning and we were so pleased it was ready for our big day in Sep 2018. The only reason for 4 stars, not 5, is that the building was only finished a few weeks prior (behind schedule) so that caused a bit of worry/stress in the lead up, but otherwise we were very happy with how things turned out. We wanted a building that we could add some individual touches to without having to be full 'DIY'. This was the perfect fit. Thanks to Gabrielle and Chris. You've created something really special. (PS The Barnstay accommodation was wonderful. My family loved our stay.)
