My husband and I booked Ginninderry Homestead for our wedding. We booked the accomodation for the night before and the night of the wedding, the billiard space for 2 hours prior to the ceremony, the ceremony space for our ceremony, and a 75 person 2 course plated sit down with dessert for our reception. Amelia, the owner, was an absolute dream to work with. She was incredibly professional throughout the whole process and was open to my myriad of questions leading up to the day. The day of, she was onsite from 2pm but was able to be easily communicated with before that. Her whole staff were so professional, tidy and lovely people to be served by. The venue itself is stunning and even just getting a few of our sneak peak photos back, the range of scenery there makes the whole experience worth it in and of itself. Our meal was delicious, the package we went with included a grazing table for the cocktail hour, an entrée with two options (alternate drop), a main with two options (alternate drop) and a dessert with two options (alternate drop). We have had amazing feedback from all the guests we spoke to about the food, and the few that had to request a last minute modification upon serving were re-served quickly and efficiently without complaint. Speaking of modifications, Amelia and the team were fantastic with all the random dietary requirements leading up to the day, and were gracious in allowing me to modify past our initial confirmation of guests and dietaries as we had some last minute drop outs and changes. The caravan that drinks were served from is just the best touch of whimsy that added to the ambience of the day. We also opted to have complimentary lawn games for our cocktail hour, which seems like such a small thing but made the cocktail hour really enjoyable for our guests while my husband and I were off taking photos. Our accommodation experience for both nights were fantastic, breakfast was continental but hit the spot exactly for the nerves I was feeling, and Amelia was also able to accommodate for dietaries there as well. Falling asleep to the sound of the creek the night before, really transported my into the headspace I needed for the day and was just a magical touch. Also, and I can't emphasise this enough, you cannot take a bad photo of the place, so you can rest assured that all your wedding photography will be absolutely stunning. Ginninderry Homestead was the perfect wedding experience. Coming from the country ourselves, my husband and I couldn't have asked for a better, more suited to us as a couple, space for our day.

My husband and I booked Steph for a bespoke ceremony package and she absolutely nailed it; the mood, the humour, the tasteful cheekiness that we asked for, it was the perfect balance. We spoke with Steph about 3 or 4 times leading up to the big day and every time she was lovely to talk to. When she spoke with us it felt like she genuinely wanted to get to know us, and this really showed with the ceremony that she put together. We both filled out an extensive questionnaire to help her get to know us, and you could see bits of it peppered throughout the ceremony- details that I remember thinking when I was writing them "oh, this isn't really necessary but I'll put it in anyway." Using our consults she was able to figure out exactly what vibe we were going for- not just from what we explicitly said, but how we acted and just by reading who we were as people. Her resources available to couples as part of her digital "greenroom" for writing vows, vendor recommendations and organising your day were so useful and really helped me make sure I had everything ticked off and ready. Steph was amazing with organising all the legal parts of the wedding as well. Because of stories I had heard from my parents who didn't realise they needed to order a legal certificate, it was something I went into the process paranoid about messing up, but Steph made the process so easy and was fantastic about not giving us any more or less information than we needed- which when you're in the throws of wedding planning is VERY much appreciated. The cherry on top was the package of items she put together for us, including print outs of our vows, a laser engraved ring dish, our beautifully written out ceremony certificate, a hand written thank you card and a copy of the ceremony script with citations of where she had pulled all her references from, making sure both my husband and my interests were referenced very tastefully. We have had so many amazing compliments about Steph, to the point where some of our family thought she was actually a friend who knew us and happened to be a celebrant, then were confused why she wasn’t at the reception. If you are someone who wants a down to earth, genuinely awesome human at your wedding, and want a ceremony that feels really intimate and represents you as a couple, Steph is who you are looking for.

I booked Missy to do a wedding hair trial and 6 heads on my wedding day. My group had a variety of lengths and textures and Missy approached them all with ease- something that is definitely not always the case, as I have very curly hair and it is always a gamble whether you will have a hair stylist who knows how to appropriately work with them and make them last. Missy was fantastic to work with. She was flexible in what each of my group wanted for their hair and did a range of styles from my updo, so a quick style of my grandma's hair, and a glamourous half up- half down style on my maid of honour which turned out fabulously. Missy put in a huge amount of attention to detail for each of my party, regardless of who they were- she made sure they, and she, were 100% happy with their final hairstyle. She was flexible with the range of hair textures and lengths my party had, and was able to work with two people who had planned hair pieces, and also me who at the last minute decided to add in a hairpiece that was actually initially designed to be wrapped around my flowers. Missy also went above and beyond to include my brother, who wasn't initially planning to have his hair styled, but after he walked out of his room looking very scruffy, she offered to include him regardless. Missy is also a great person to chat with, she keeps conversation flowing and you never feel awkward sitting there; she really supported the relaxed mood we were trying to construct so I wouldn't panic and flap around waiting for the ceremony to start. I would recommend Missy to anyone. She is highly skilled, very professional, affordable and an incredibly well organised person to have styling your hair for your event. I would absolutely book her again.
