My husband and I recently got married at the Marion and my goodness did they exceed our expectations! Our experience started with our wonderful coordinator Andrea, who was wonderful to work with from the start! So communicative and helpful, and she worked tirelessly to keep my anxious bride mind at ease in the lead up to our wedding, answering all my questions and helping us create a seamless wedding day. The Head Chef, Matt, was also outstanding, going the extra mile to ensure my main meal adhered to my dietary requirements, even though it wasn’t an easy request. Our guests were so complimentary of the food, noting it was the best they’ve ever had at a wedding! We have also attended several high teas here prior to the wedding and have had the same positive experience with the food. The waitstaff on the night were so polite and helpful and again commended by our guests. In particular, Anita and Holly took care of myself and my husband, ensuring our meals were good and that our drinks were full. They even ensured my dress was fluffed as I had chosen to walk myself down the aisle and I really appreciated the time taken to calm my nerves right beforehand. In addition to the outstanding service and great food, the venue has the most gorgeous views, making for great photography backdrops! We could not recommend this venue highly enough as it is honestly the best in Canberra - we will definitely be back. A huge shoutout and thank you to the entire team for all they did for us!

I cannot recommend Kayla highly enough! She was absolutely amazing for both my bridal trial and wedding day makeup! On both occasions, the makeup lasted all afternoon and all night, still looking fresh when I got home. I received compliments from people all night and the makeup looked beautiful in the photos. My mother and sister-in-law also had their makeup done and said that Kayla was the best makeup artist they have ever had! She is amazing at her craft, but was just a lovely person so chat with to calm my wedding day nerves. I also appreciated that she was communicative and responsive throughout the entire process. Highly recommend!!!

Chris was absolutely outstanding as our celebrant and MC! He made the whole process in the lead up to our wedding so easy and guided us every step of the way. The ceremony and reception went perfectly and Chris really captured our personalities in both. We had several guests compliment him as one of the best celebrant and MCs they’ve seen. An absolute pleasure to work with and we’d recommend him to everyone!
