Simone at Herz Design Studio designed an elegant gown to suit a spring-time, country wedding. I didn't want a heavily beaded gown for our day-time garden ceremony and reception. Simone had sourced a free flowing, light weight fabric with a silver embossed floral design. Simone took the time to help me choose my accessories and the right veil to compliment my wedding gown. Result ... Perfection.

Clancy came highly recommended. We are so thrilled that we chose him to cater our delicious finger food and roast dinner buffet lunch. The quality of the food was amazing. His staff were so very friendly and helpful on the day. Nothing was too much trouble. Please don't book a caterer for your reception until you have spoken to Catering by Clancy. Final guest numbers for catering purposes were not required until one week before our wedding.

Michelle is amazing. Our ceremony was perfect. Michelle took the time to get to know us as a couple and then wrote us a beautiful ceremony from the heart, with all the personal touches to make our ceremony unique to us. We laughed, we cried and then we laughed some more. Michelle made us feel relaxed and our wedding guests loved her.

David and I booked the onsite accommodation for the 2 nights before our wedding and also for our wedding night. It was wonderful to be able to stay until our last guests left our reception and to be able to just stroll across the wooden bridge to our bridal suite. The accommodation has a kitchen with everything you may need … just bring your own food and drinks. There is a swimming pool, a western style saloon bar with a pool table and a beautiful bedroom with a comfortable iron bed and plush bedding. The bathroom has luxury soaps and toiletries. If you don’t feel like cooking, you can always take the short drive into Bangalow or Byron Bay for dinner in one of the great local restaurants. We loved the meals and the Bangalow Hotel and enjoyed morning tea at the Bangalow Heritage Museum.

Mullumbimby Hire had everything we needed and were so very helpful putting our package together ... the marquee, the tables, chairs and linen, the plates and glassware, the dance floor and sound system, the generator and portable toilets with soap, toilet paper and hand towels. Mark and his team are amazing and worked really hard to make sure we had everything on site ready for our wedding day.

Forget Me Not Weddings was the perfect rural setting for our country wedding. We looked at a number of venues in the Byron Bay Hinterland and chose this location for its picturesque setting. tranquility and privacy. There is a large lake with an old wooden jetty, lilly pads and a platypus. Cows and horses graze in the adjoining paddocks. The babbling brook leads to the waterfall. There is an old post-and-rail fence and a wooden bridge which leads to the perfect rustic setting to sign your marriage certificate. With every turn of your head you will see another perfect wedding photo opportunity. Our wedding album is looks amazing and is full of so many fond memories of our wedding day. The gardens are impeccably kept and we married when the white daisies were in full bloom. What more can I say but "luxurious" . Yes, it is expensive, but it was our honeymoon. The staff are genuinely friendly and attentive. This is such an iconic, luxury hotel. The tranquil gardens are a touch of paradise in such a busy city.
