It took me many nights scrawling through different websites, FB & IG posts before I found Elly. When I saw her work, I knew I found someone who truly knew her craft. As I saw more of her work and compared it to others, I became more confident that she was the one. I messaged her and thankfully she was available for my big day. I never felt I needed to do a trial makeup so I didn't. Time and proximity was also a factor given that I was living in Asia at that time. On the wedding day, I couldn't be happier with what Elly did for me, my hair and my makeup, my mom's and my daughter's hair. Everything was just as expected and more. It was natural looking yet enhanced. I would definitely choose Elly again if I needed a MUA in the future, without a doubt.

Given we had a small intimate wedding, we didn't really want to spend too much money on flowers but at the same time, we also wanted some to dress up the whole event. Kerrie (Bloom & Bush) understood the look I was going for right from the start. She kept to our budget and worked to give us the look that we want. She also took a lot of initiative on her own to check and recheck the venue so that she can style it in the way that I want. On the day, we couldn't be happier with how it all turned out. It was soft, romantic, modern and understated. She also utilized dried flowers (native to Australia) in some parts of the wedding. I am glad we went with that because now we get to keep a bit of the wedding (buttonaire, flower crown, centerpieces) with us forever.

Even though our wedding was very small, we felt that hiring a duo might be a nice touch to make the ambiance even more intimate. We chose Something Borrowed because we liked the way they sounded and they were easy to talk with in the weeks and days prior to the wedding. The songs we requested for them to play for us, they executed beautifully. All the guests really enjoyed their performance during the ceremony and the dinner. We highly recommend Something Borrowed for your special occasions.

No words to really capture how happy we were with the work of Freddie (Wide Eyedea Photography). On the big day, from the moment they arrived, they just got on with shooting all the details of the wedding. They even brought their own extra props to help with the styling. They were accommodating with our requests and of shots we want to take. It was such a pleasure working with them. Most importantly, the photos they took were just amazing. We really loved how it all came out. It made us want to get married all over again. Thank you again to Wide Eyedea Photography for capturing our big day so beautifully.
